Kara Kesselring, Music Director

Kara Kesselring joined Riverside Presbyterian Church in the fall of 2025 as Music Director. She directs the adult choir, leads The Scottswood Singers children’s choir, and helps plan and accompany worship services.

Originally from Iowa, Kara earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Voice from the University of Iowa. Before coming to Riverside, she was a longtime member of Lakeview Presbyterian Church in Chicago, where she was active in music and worship for over 20 years. Kara grew up in the Disciples of Christ (Christian) Church and has always found deep joy in connecting people through music and community.

Kara lives in Brookfield with her husband Patrick and daughter. She is grateful to share her love of music, faith, and fellowship with the Riverside congregation.
